REVOLVER: 11m/m CF cal; 6 shot cylinder; 6” (150mm) rnd. barrel with g. bore, sharply defined rifling, grooves dirty but doesn’t appear to be pitted; retains much of its original blued finish to metalwork, some patchy blemishes confined mainly to rhs of frame; vivid case colours to breech plate; no visible marks to pistol externally, 57 stamped to each grip internally; mechanically fine, cylinder indexing exc., strong springs & crisp sears; interesting design that allows cylinder to move freely of breech plate with loading gate open; front blade & rear notch sights dovetails to barrel; some screw heads lightly to moderately burred; walnut grip panels have been roughly refined but metal to wood fit is still g.; lanyard ring to butt; overall in exc. wo & g. to vg. cond. #37 Pre 1900 L/R
